wetlands and locacl mountains

It does not look like we will be getting any rain any time soon.  The wetlands have been just wonderful.  It has been a nice 65 - 75 degrees and the birds are just loving it as well.  There has been alot of northern pintails, hawks, curlews, wigeons and many more.

I did get up to the mountains after the snow but did not see any bald eagles.  There are apparently a few up in the big bear area.  I will keep looking for those as well.

With in the next week or two I will be trying to interview some of the local groups that help preserve and car for the birds at Bolsa Chica wetlands and surrounding areas.

I really have been busy trying to get a couple of websites  up and going but databases, search engines and going through hundreds of photos is alot.  So I hope to have some minor results surfacing here shortly.  For now the Bolsa Chica wetlands is a nice warm spot to be.
